RENEWED CHARACTER AND CONFIDENCE
Merman is a BAFTA-winning independent media production company. It evolved from making films and TV in the UK to creating branded content and advertising globally. With offices in London, LA and New York, the business needed rebranding to reflect its position as a confident, proudly independent creative enterprise.
A newly energised Merman symbol and word mark was created. It was designed to be simple enough to work on screen while at the same time exuding bags of personality. A bold aqua-marine colour palette ties all online and offline communications together.
The effect is modern but at the same time kitsch and fits with the firms long-time dedication to humour and alternative values. The branding has helped the company successfully compete in new sectors and services.
